We have ITS data!

We just received ITS data from the GSL! Thank you GSL for running our sample so quickly!

Note that we will likely have to create mapping files for the processed reads. I tried the marten2.xlsx mapping file for preprocessing, and it worked. Please note that we will also need to remove adapters and then check those sequences again with the pre-processing pipeline in Nephele before continuing with QIIME2.

The protocol we followed was the Zymo Quick ITS-Plus and used the epMotion 5075 with filter tips and a HEPA filtration unit for all procedures. We used a blank water control and a mock community as indicated in the manual (opens in new window).
