We will hold our last lab of the semester next week on Tuesday, December 5 at 12:50 PM. We will use this time to share your data analysis projects with your peers. Before coming to the lab please submit your finalized written project to Moodle. Remember to utilize the guidelines and rubric for your data analysis project.
Remember that YOU are conducting new research. After carefully processing the sequences, focus on the biological significance of the trends and differences you uncover. Each dataset is rich in metadata and possible comparisons! Furthermore, you now have several tools and colleagues to work with to discover new things. What did you discover?
The in-person presentations for the data analysis project are informal; our goal is for you to share the interesting results you found with others and explain how you arrived at these results. For this, you can put together a few slides that include your methodology, two or three figures that present the results you think are most enlightening, and your final conclusions.
