I am excited to hear what you have discovered analyzing the datasets we have available. I am providing a couple of reminders below:
Lab Entries
The lab 6 entry is due tonight at midnight. For the methods section, you will be comparing the metagenomic tools discussed so far. For the results and discussion, state the data set you will analyze for the final data analysis project and the method you will use to analyze it. You should also state your reasoning for why you chose that method.

Complete Module 7 this week. Let me know if you need access to other modules. Use Module 7 as an opportunity to reflect on all you have learned and what you want to do now! Also, acknowledge challenges and areas you want to learn more about.
Data Analyses/Podcast Updates
We want to learn what you have been doing! This will also benefit others. How are your podcast recordings coming along? Review the guidelines on the Moodle site and syllabus before submitting. For the data analysis project, document your procedure carefully (lab 6 entry). We are interested to know more about the marten and compost samples you are analyzing! Think about the trends and biological significance of the findings.
